INTRODUCTION

Some people have super powers. Most people don't. But it's not a big deal. Welcome to the world of Johnny Davis, teenager, high school student, and promising hero. He's a surefire first round pick for The United Hero League, the ruling body for competitive heroing. But he's not in any hurry to go pro. These are just some of the people in his life. CHARACTERS


	JOHNNY Strong enough to crush a Buick, sensitive enough to feel bad about it. Johnny spent most of his life as a null, but during a particularly crazy party in his Sophomore year he gained giant strength and stature. Now he tries to be normal, but can't quite get the hang of it. His powers have gained him some notoriety as the strongman for the Eastlake Select Hero team.		ROSE She wants her 10 percent. Rose has many good traits. She's kind to animals, helps old people cross the street, and always gives to the United Way. But in her role as an agent she's sharp, smart, and utterly ruthless. She wants to represent Johnny when he becomes a pro, and woe to those that try to stop her.


	PRINCIPAL JONAS HOWARD Overworked and underpaid. Principal Jonas Howard left a promising career in finance to pursue his dreams of being an educator. With the advent of super powered teenagers his job has gotten harder, but no less rewarding. Twenty years of teaching has taught him that with or without powers, kids are kids.		BELEN The girl you're scare to ask out. An exchange student from Argentina, Belén has had no trouble fitting in at Eastlake. She is a brilliant artist, a gifted dancer, and charming as can be. Despite her adoring legion of adolescent fans Belén has yet to date any American boy.


	CHRIS The perpetual 13 year old. Johnny's friend and teammate. Chris is blissfully ignorant of such things as tact and propriety. His mouth gets him in trouble, and Johnny gets him out. Chris has about a hundred powers, but he's not very good at any of them. His versatility earns him a spot on the bench for Eastlake Select, his lack of mastery insures that he stays there.		RYAN Once a titan, now low key. Ryan was the original strongman for Eastlake select, until his Junior year. At the same party Johnny grew up Ryan shrank down. He and Johnny have been friends since they were kids, but after the party they're rarely seen together. Since becoming a null Ryan has gotten serious about his schoolwork, dedicating himself to science with all the fervor he pursued Heroing.
